Register on the Portal
- Go to the Vahan portal at https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/vahanservice/.
- Click on the “Register” button to begin the user registration process.
- Enter your details, including your name, email, mobile number, and state, and click “Register”.
- You’ll receive an email to verify your account; click the provided link to activate your user ID and set your password.
- Go to the Vahan portal at https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/vahanservice/.

Download the DSC Signer Service
- After logging in, navigate to the DSC Signer Service link on the homepage.
- Download the zip file containing the latest version of the DSC Signer Service.
- Locate and double-click the
DSC_Signer_Service_v7.2.exefile from the downloaded bundle to start the installation.
- After logging in, navigate to the DSC Signer Service link on the homepage.

Install and Start the Service
- Read the license agreement and click “I Agree”.
- Complete the installation process.
- After installation, double-click the desktop icon for the DSC Signer Service to start it.
- A message will appear stating that the service has started successfully.
- Read the license agreement and click “I Agree”.

- Open the Parivahan portal in your browser.
- On the homepage, click the link for the DSC Signer Service.
- Select your DSC and click the “Register” button to activate your DSC.
- You may be prompted to enter the user PIN for your DSC; this is usually a default value of 1 to 8 unless you have set a different one.
- Once the DSC is registered successfully, you will see a confirmation message.
- Open the Parivahan portal in your browser.
